crashed, and waiting for the impact they had to look into
the back view mirror to know what they were going to hit.
With so many reported accidents, Porsche had to do
something, and fast. First improvements were desperate
attempts. Ballast was presented as bumper reinforcement.
A perfect sportscar? Certainly not. But who could imagine in 1964 that the career of the 911
would last so many decades. No car in the world has been improved so much. And so long.
